Kerala Tourism Department Partners With KTM to Bring Buyers and Sellers of the State Tourism on Single Platform




Kerala state tourism department are actively working for the boost of the state tourism in every sphere. In this very aim, the Kerala tourism department partner with Kerala Travel Mart Society to host the mega event to bring the entrepreneurs (the service provider in the state) and the products together on a single platform.


 It is an important event, where the interactions between the buyers, sellers and the media take places. In this event, Ayurveda resorts, hotels, resorts, cultural art centers, houseboats, home stays, tour operators showcase their services and products at the mart. 

AP Anil Kumar, Kerala’s Tourism Minister said, the event which will start from September 18-20 would be held at Kochi’s Samudrika Convention Centre, Cochin Port Trust and Willingdon Island. In this event, Kerala will be showcasing different themes in order to promote the state as a wedding destination. In recent times, the state witnessed several couples from aborad, who has chosen Kerala for auspicious occasion like marriage. “We felt that we should take this up as our selling point,” added Kumar. 

He also said “As always, in this edition too, it would be a sellout event, as with every edition, the participation of buyers and sellers are increasing,”. 

The event will reach to several other countries and the participation would be a mega event. This time KTM would accomplish buyers from new markets like Australia, Austria, Brazil, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Norway, Poland, South Africa, Sweden and US. 

Over the last 13 years, more than 1000 international buyers have successfully established business partners in the various tourism sector in Kerala.
