The First Ever British Festival in Kerala



The Great British Festival which will come into life in March 12, 2014 is the sole purpose initiated by UK Trade and Investment in British Deputy High Commission along with national UK Government agency. the festival which is expected to have its delight under the roof of Crowne Plaza and Lulu Mall which is associated and powered by the Cochin chamber of commerce and Industry.


The occasion would be the first ever majestic festival and as per the source it is held to follow the course of Prince Charles who visited the state during 2013 and to commemorate the grand incident the Great British Festival Show would illustrate its core.  

As per the source the visit by the Royal highness was aimed at supporting the friendly relation between State and the UK and to appreciate the same the incident will exhibit the innovation and their development in the field of transport and communication.

The festival would look to bring all the dignitaries under the single roof and as per the vibe of the festival the officials from the local government, entrepreneurs, academics, researchers and veteran proficient together with the ICT firms of British that operates within the state would come to develop and facilitate the innovation agenda to develop the course to provide reliable future value.

British deputy high commissioner to Chennai would incept the proceedings which would be followed presentation which looks to organise the view of Innovation eco system and then the panel of discussion would complete the call.

To display the highlights of ICT sector, immigration and intellectual property laws in UK Pennington Manches LLP, UK will display the features. Four UK based companies namely Testhouse UK, Scottish Development International UK, Kloupad UK and Northgate Arinso UK will present the possible prospect of collaboration to develop the course and the successful case study will showcase the opportunity.

P.H Kurien, IAS Principle Secretary, IT government of Kerala Rakesh Gupta, MD Acis Professor S Rajiv, Director Asian School of Business Nitin Nair and senior Manager Risk Advisory Ernst and Young LLP are expected to grace the festival with their presence. The second event which is expected to hold on March 14 in Kochi would look to cover prospect like retail, manufacturing healthcare and many more.
