Wandering around a beauty of Maldives had always been a dream run.
Since a beauty and adventure that surrounds a location is perhaps a beauty of Maldives and though I had a passion of going around a site of Dessert Island somewhere down a tropical ocean is something I had always desire.
Though I knew a life here would not be at total seclusion nevertheless I tried a life without a touch of technology. But just a 25 minute speedboat ride to Baros from male airport connected a life with a broom of technology.
Arrival at Baros
Though my friend tried to avoid using an excellence of Wi-Fi but could not do so and uploaded a picture of glam arrival to a social networking site.
But I did not let my spirit and passion go down and continued lived up near a beauty of desert and lived fully up to my expectation.
My most phenomenal experience was in water almost half of my hours I tangled across a beauty of water and really enjoyed it.
On the Baros Internet site the first thing you going to notice is a photograph of over-water villas. And inside the living room of these villas you would see a glass screen in the floor so that you can look down and enjoy a beautiful fish that swim beneath the floor.
We even opted for a water villa for half of the week and other half we had a beach villa which covered all our dream expectation.
As the level of luxury and bliss of solitary are to be found and that was really amazing. Our water villa was well at a height like that of New York apartment, intricately decorated and incredibly private.
What was really amazing is that we had an infinity pool on the deck and the steps which travelled straight into the sea.
Amy Williams
She spotted a turtle during a snorkelling sessionsThough I did not plunge into as there were sharks I really felt good to be at a side of Ruth. She has a 14 month daughter and for the first time we were together on our holiday. And it was very special.
As Ruth spent time reading a blogs related with Maldives and I’m someone who just dives in and since I told her regarding the plan she was off the hook for a very moment. We were prepared for anything, which was just as well, as the resort had quite a busy programme of activities for us.
My first scuba diving where I went down 40 feet it was a great experience as I thought I would not do it but I did because there is so much of marine life in Maldives you would rather go for snorkelling then scuba diving.
I just cannot describe how amazing it was swimming with turtle for two or three hours, watching them eating besides enjoying we were also maintaining a code of conduct.
While we were looking at the turtle we noticed a beautiful shark swimming around which was truly natural and trust me when I first saw it I almost had a heart attack.
Maldivian Nemo-fish, which has a black bit underneath, In our week I learnt so much about the marine life from marine biologists in the Baros Marine Centre.
Activities within marine centre were plenty which included coral-planting workshops where they explained its importance. And also talked regarding its damage during tsunami and as the rising temperature of water damaged it we learned how gradually it grows.
Amy Williams on The Beach
Amy, pictured on one of the rare occasions she left the sea, is determined to return to Baros.
We noticed coral planting are like occasions and couples celebrate their occasions by planting coral.
Eventually corals are the one that attracts a fish but at a same time nearby restaurants serves a quarter of fish but that’s unavoidable on Baros. However I did not order a little Nemo fish because they are amazing creatures.
Here you have a plenty of restaurants which has a fine dining spot, the Lighthouse Restaurant - is so good that people visit it from other islands, which is an extraordinary thing in the Maldives.
Coconuts and curries are a part of their ingredients. The lime restaurant is best for breakfast and you can have practically anything you wanted.
Although Chinese visitors had their special breakfast soups I simply gorged on fruit. They have all kinds of fruits under the sun only thing you are require to do is point the one you wish to eat and it is done.
A real highlight was the taster evening on Saturday where they showcased the food with cocktails - which gave people a chance to chat to each other.
Despite being a small Island there were a number of Guest and the ambiance is very private and alluring. Since we were snorkelling for hours every day, one fine morning we woke up at 5 o’clock to do yoga with our yoga instructor.
As we were doing it we felt the ray of sun coming out and after that we had our breakfast and what I loved was informality of everything. I wore flip-flops or just went barefoot everywhere.
We did not hesitate to enter barefoot in a posh restaurant as it was strange to wear shoes on our way back to home but we decided to come back again before we flew back home.
