School Excursions Banned on Amarnath yatra routes

Due to the start of the ‘salvation giving’ Amarnath Yatra Kashmir is full of domestic as well as foreign devotees. In such peak season of tourism, the state government and the concerned authorities have taken various steps to prevent any sort of mis-happening. Adding more to the already well built security, the Director of School Education, Kashmir, introduced one more idea to make the Yatra hustle free. The Directors asked the heads of private as well as government educational institutions not to send the students for any sort of excursions or picnic to Sonamarg and Pahalgam as these are the busy Yatra routes. For More about Sonamarg,

One of the spokesmen said that the educational institutes must take prior permission from the zonal as well as chief education officer before setting out for any excursions or picnic trips. He also added with seriousness and sensitivity that the heads of the institutes would be solely responsible for the students they take out for excursions and the heads must make sure that no mishap occurs.
