Seaplane
tourism which looks to connect the various backwater destinations around Kerala
still operates under the lights of state government and as per the source the
initiative that looks to develop the transport and communication facility of
the State would rather leave the common fishermen dying for the hopes of
survival.
As
the petition which was filed two years ago regarding the measures of seaplane
are still defying the truth and leaving the common people in doubt of justice.
As per the proposals the fishermen would rather prefer houseboat and their
common means of transportation to connect the boundaries because that would
give a hope to the locals to earn their livelihood which in turn would save the
environment.
Failing
to act upon the prospects of the local fishermen would result in water
pollution that directly hampers the tourism and more primarily the visage of
marine life. So considering the facts the fishermen are ideally hoping to
follow the old ways of transportation.
As
per the words of A.P Anil Kumar, Minister of tourism the purpose and the
prospects of the fishermen would be taken under consideration as the detailed
survey that looks to meet the bipolar thoughts of the government and the local
people would be examined by the committee where representative of the fishermen
of Kerala would have their say.
It
was during Monday the minister while addressing the press conference said; it
is a dream project to carve the lines of seaplane which would act like
houseboats and while concluding with his word he called for an eight edition of
the Kerala Travel Mart.
As
per the source the Mart would have its say during the call of September under
the roof of Samudrika convention centre where tourism products would come down
to show its influence. When we say the highlights of the tourism products than
an inspiring Village life, culture tours and destination weddings would bring
the shackles down.
Under
such conviction the organisers of Kerala tourism, tour and houseboat operators,
hospitality and stakeholders will participate to display their products before
buyers to meet with their perspective.
While
answering one question which was related with the revival of Kerala tourism
Development Corporation, Mr Anil Kumar said we have already directed the CMD
agency’s to call for marketing campaigns.
Although
he did not clarify regarding the steps to deploy the boat within Kochi to
revive backwater tours but he certainly assured the new plans and prospect
would work to unfold the potential of the state.
On
economic slowdown, he said the same incident had really hampered the Kerala
tourism and the footfall have not increased in a way they had expected in the
last season so to conclude with the detailed information the Data collection
process is making its grounds.
While
talking about Muziris project he said the process of the phase one met its side
on anvil as the formal launch would come under effect after the commencement of
the Lok Sabha election.
112
panchayats would come under the lines of responsible tourism that would be
given a specific training and the initiative that embraces the course of it at
Kumarakom was attributed by the UNWTO.
Regarding
cleanliness in most of the tourist places he said the project would ensure
proper method to tackle with such problem and to initiate with the same the
places like Kumarakom, Munnar, Alappuzha etc is working under the lines.
