Lakshadweep
Island of India is all set to open tourism centre within the shore of three
uninhabited Island and they would initiate the same project by improving
infrastructure by opening beach resort and by facilitating water sports
activities.
A
M Hussain, assistant director of Lakshadweep tourism department while talking
with PTI said Thinnakkara, Suheli Par and Cherium would be a place where they
are planning to spend RS 60 crores to improve infrastructure of the above
mentioned Islands.
Husaain
further added that all the three islands are virgin and serene in nature. They
occupy 40-50 acres of land where its silver glistening sands and blistering
beauty of marine life adds a delight which in turn would give an awesome
opportunity to traveller to spend quiet moment within the helms of the Islands.
Surreal
charm of this islands are complimented by clean ambience so to make it a
tourism centre the tourism department are planning to invest on resort by
introducing public-private partnership model.
To project the same plan the department will be introducing tender in
coming months. So far as water activities are concern department are looking
forward to plant programmes like scuba diving, wind surfing, deep sea fishing,
yachting, snorkelling, Jet Ski water crafts and many more.
Lakshadweep
Island which is located near the Arabian and perched at a distance of around
220-440 km away from the tropical beauty of Kerala is hoping to induct its
programme by the call of the next year, said by Tourism Official.
Archipelago here counts the double figure of
36 out of which 6 have resorts and amenities for tourist. When it comes to
adventure perks than the surroundings here are virgin and adequate to plan the
same measures. Its rich eco-system and pristine sandy beaches which are
accompanied by coral reefs and marine life makes this area sensitive and owing
to its importance Lakshadweep can be considered to be a niche of apparent
tourism.
The
Island which is connected via Air and Sea route from Kochi and Calicut looks to
be a place of adventure on coming days. Department of tourism is planning to
acquire two new ships which would cost 250 crore to handle the growing pressure
of tourist arrival. Beside that they are looking forward to liver boats to
support their plan, said by Hussain.
Tourism
department officials said that they would try to operate sae planes and while
talking about the sensitive environment he said they would make sure nit to
damage ecological balance by tourism plan.
