UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change
submitted its report which revealed an increasing intensity of climatic
condition could hamper human health, settlements, natural resources and many
more. While carrying a ominous warning report revealed the situation would go
worst if no proper measures are taken to prevent the ill will of global
warming.
India,
like other developing economies, may lose up to 1.7% of its Gross Domestic
Product (GDP) if the annual mean temperature rises by 1 degree Celsius compared
to pre-industrialization level, hitting the poor the most.
Report
in its details mentioned that growing economies like India could feel the rush
of lost and they have state that country could lose up to 1.7% of GDP if annual
mean temperature continuous to rise by 1 degree Celsius than poor people would
bear the consequences in an era industrialisation.
If
no strict measures are followed to prevent the natural calamities than ravages
of Uttarakhand and Phailin effects of Odisha would continue to pursue the
situation.

K Pachauri, chairmen of IPCC while publicising the report in Yokohama, Japan
stated no region would remain sage from the impact of climate change. The
report which was made public in Japan says rise in temperature would affect
beach tourism and India being a famous beach destination would lose its resort.
According
to report the intensity of climatic condition would result deterring the
livelihood of common people.
Among other things, the report warns that
climate change increases the risk of armed conflict around the world because it
worsens poverty and economic shocks.
UN
Framework Convention on Climate Change which has been working potentially to
fight the ravages of present climatic condition said drastic environment at
present plays an important role in determining national security policies of
state.
Aromar
Revi, lead author of one of the chapters of this report, stated the collision
of weather condition would be menacing in Indo-Gangetic plains. The changes we
have noticed in few years cannot be overruled either in Indus river basin or in
Brahmputra River.
Another
lead author, Surender Kumar, in his word if mean temperature goes par 1 degree
Celsius than nation would have to bid god bye to 3% of country GDP.
