Kerala Tourism Concludes Mobile App Contest – best to be rewarded after Evaluation

Entries for creative and innovative mobile apps for the promotion of Kerala Tourism were invited from across the world by the Department of Tourism, Kerala.

The contest started on 18^th February and was concluded on 20^th of March, 2014, in which 550 entries with creative and innovative mobile app were received from across the world.

The Mobile App Idea Competition was organized by Kerala Tourism and was conducted by Invis Multimedia. Contestant were invited to submit creative and original ideals for mobile app development in order to promote tourism of Kerala, which is also considered to be one of the most unique campaigns of the year. 

Within a span of 1 month, the department has received 550 ideas out of which the department will take out the best for the purpose of development.

According to the Kerala tourism spokesperson, the submitted ideal will be published on the official website, www.keralatourism.org in order to find out uniqueness, relevance and creativity.

For this mobile app, Department of Tourism will give winners cash prizes as well as laptop and other prizes accordingly. First Prize of 1,00,000 while the second prize  is cash of 50,000 for 2 person, 3^rd prize is laptop computer for 3 persons and 4^th consolation prize (Mobile Phone) for 12 persons.  The judging committee consisting of 3 members will judge the ideas and choose the best for the prize.
