PATTAYA, THAILAND: for the
security and to encourage tourism the government of Thailand has announced to
open the first tourist court from tomorrow at the rage of resort city of
Pattaya which promises to assure the tourist their wellbeing and convenience.
Wirat
Chinwinigkul, general secretary of the judiciary said that overseas tourist can
file their complaints regarding iniquitous services and personal safekeeping
from 4.30 to 8.30 pm, Contemplation of cases has been said to cut for one day
and for unsophisticated contention regular 6 months.
As far as
the cases are concern most of them are likely to be consumer protection so the
dedicated court is to be refer for the consultation between the parties but if
the case is a serious one it is to discussed on a court.
Pathum Wan district
for the Silom area and Dusit district for khao san in Bangkok, Krabi, Samui,
Chiang Mai and Phuket six months night court is planned much cause these places
are the one where tourist has been asked to faced an assortment of troubles.
Because of the series of contention and crimes
which would deter an image of tourism channel project is expected to be at
Pattaya court.
An agreement
have been signed between parties like police, prosecutors, the courts of
justice and the Tourism Ministry to lay down and work simultaneously to
encourage tourism.
House of justice would require protecting local tourist, providing
them security and looking after their complaints as a guardian and custodian.
A separate department is would be set up by the ministry to look after
the cases cause tourist cannot wait for the verdict so the department is
expected to work accordingly and assure the tourist of their wellbeing.
Tourism Minister Somsak Pureesrisak said that to standardize the
industry an act would be pass just like France he further added tourism being a
backbone of economy it is good and steady step to open a night court which
would provide a safety to our tourist insisting on target of Bt2 trillion in
tourism.
At last he ended on a note to stop the illegal services and thugs.
